The organizer of this event, Olivia Rourke, was one of the students who was lost in the recent tragedy.  To honour her mom who was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, Olivia decided to merge two of her loves - basketball and her mom - and try to raise money for breast cancer research through this 3 on 3 tournament.  All proceeds from this tournament go toward breast cancer research.  A group of teachers and coaches here at WDCS couldn't bear to see one of the last things Olivia was trying to do cancelled, so we have decided to go ahead and try to run the fundraiser that Olivia was so keen to operate.
